Paul is an enthusiastic (the adjective most often used to describe him) trainer, coach, and speaker. He earned a Master of Arts in Communication Studies, with a focus on interpersonal, gender, and nonverbal communication. Paul began his career in academia, and then transitioned to the corporate world as a training director and consultant, where he works with companies in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, health and beauty, manufacturing, consulting, and more. In addition to consulting, Paul is currently a Communications Instructor at Asheville-Buncombe Community College. 

Paul has discovered that in addition to leadership, selling, and interpersonal communication skills, many companies desperately need for individuals to present themselves well, and this has been his most recent focus. The most effective speakers and presenters focus on both content and delivery, and Paul has discovered that skills are most lacking in knowing the most effective way to deliver a presentation—regardless of the medium. This is particularly true in today’s day and age, given the sheer number of folks working and presenting from home offices.
