About

Hope for Teens is an anti-bullying organization that is dedicated to the advocacy and support of the LGBTQ+ youth. We were started in 2010 when six (6) teenagers committed suicide over a 12 week period and there were no organizations specifically dedicated to the youth. We attend High School and Middle School GSA, SGA, and SAGA meetings, attend pride events, attend governmental sessions, and most recently started hosting Wake County Queer Prom for the High School students.

Hope for Teens provides presentations related to the effects of bullying for many different viewers; students, school administrators, PTA meetings, Youth Programs, etc. In addition, we participate in many pride events, attend the school GSA meetings, and we plan and host Wake County Queer Prom for the High School Students.
